OverviewU.S. Crisis Care is a nonprofit organization that helps people impacted by traumatic events to rebuild healthy, fulfilling, productive lives. We do this by supporting the development and operation of community crisis care programs. Through these programs, volunteers provide immediate on-scene personal support to survivors impacted by suicides, homicides, serious accidents, child deaths, and other tragedies that occur in our communities every day. This support can help survivors begin rebuilding healthy, fulfilling, productive lives, rather than spiraling down into despair, substance abuse, violence, school failure, job loss, family breakup, and other problems. U.S. Crisis Care is administered by Community Chaplaincy, Inc., a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization. Our ability to provide a ray of hope in the darkest times of people's lives depends on your generosity. To support our work, just click here. Donations are fully tax deductible, and may be designated to support a particular local program if you wish. |
