Where It Is

Local programs serving local communities.

Local crisis care programs serve communities throughout the western U.S. and beyond. Most are administered by community-based nonprofit organizations, while some are administered directly by municipal agencies. Last year, over 1,000 dedicated volunteers in community-based crisis programs responded to more than 6,000 activation requests, caring for over 10,000 people, in communities with a combined population of about 20 million. Some of the largest municipalities served by community crisis care programs include:

Phoenix / Maricopa County, AZ
Los Angeles, CA
Orange County, CA
Sacramento, CA
San Diego, CA
San Francisco Bay Area, CA
Las Vegas / Clark County, NV
Reno / Washoe County, NV
Portland / Multnomah County, OR
Seattle / King County, WA
Tacoma / Pierce County, WA
