Where It Is

Crisis care programs serve communities throughout the western states. Most programs operate through nonprofit organizations in close cooperation with local public safety agencies, while a few are administered directly by public agencies themselves. U.S. Crisis Care supports collaboration among, and provides technical assistance to, a number of independent crisis care programs. Some programs, such as those in Portland/Vancouver, Orange County and Las Vegas, operate as chapters of Trauma Intervention Programs Inc., a nonprofit organization with several local affiliates.
