San Diego Police Crisis Intervention

During the average week in the City of San Diego, over 20 people die from accidents, suicides, heart attacks and other sudden expected tragedies, devastating a wide circle of family and friends. Formed in 1988, the San Diego Police Department Crisis Intervention Program is the oldest community crisis care program in a major city. Its civilian volunteers respond around the clock to provide immediate on-scene personal support to impacted survivors. Click here to go to the San Diego Police Department's web site for more information. To support the program financially, visit their donations page at Network for Good. Thanks for helping preserve a ray of hope in the darkest times of people's lives.
